Indexable Slotting Cutter With Straight Tooth
Product Name: Taper Shank Gear Shaper
Scope of application: Mainly used for processing internal meshing
spur and helical gears. It is used for processing internal meshing
spur gears with a pressure angle of 20° and involute flower holes
with a pressure angle of 30°. It is designed and manufactured
according to JB78, GB6081-85 standards and non-standards. High
efficiency, product accuracy can reach grade 6, wear resistance.
Suitable for small and deep internal tooth machining.
Accuracy class: class A
Processing material: high speed steel
A gear shaper is a gear-shaped or rack-shaped gear machining tool.
Gear shaper cutters are used to process internal and external
meshing spur and helical cylindrical gears according to the
generation method (see gear machining). The characteristic of the
gear shaper is that it can process gears with shoulders,
multi-stage gears and herringbone gears without empty grooves. The
special-shaped gear shaper can also process workpieces with various
other profiles, such as cams and internal splines.
Gear shaper knives are divided into four types: disc, bowl,
cylinder and tapered shank according to their shapes. The disc
shaper is mainly used for processing internal and external meshing
straight teeth, gear shaper helical teeth and herringbone gears.
The bowl-shaped gear shaper mainly processes spur gears with
shoulders and multiple internal and external meshing. The
difference between it and the disc-shaped gear shaper is that the
nut used for clamping can be accommodated in the body of the gear
shaper. Therefore, processing is not hindered. The cylindrical gear
shaper is used to process internal gears and small external gears,
and is screwed on the main shaft of the gear shaper by the thread
of the inner hole. The taper shank shaper is mainly used for
machining internal meshing spur and helical gears.
